Halachic stance
The 20% follows the chomesh standard, the upper bound the Gemara describes (Kesubos 50a). On every halachic edge case, the dashboard takes the stricter view (לפנים משורת הדין): no income-tax deduction, capital purchases owe ma’aser too. The owed number is calculated to the cent, not rounded.
